Sure! We love to eat fresh bread, grilled steaks, and red wine. However, authentic Chilean food is much more than this. Because of Chile’s geographic situation with fertile valleys, mild weather, and lots of sun, Chileans enjoy the most wonderful produce and fruits. Famous are our fruit juices, grapes and avocados. Also, seafood is big in Chilean cooking. Chile has four thousand miles of Pacific Ocean Coast, having hundreds of different kinds of seafood and fish. Furthermore, very popular between locals are the “churrascos”, a kind of steak sandwiches with toppings such as green beans, tomatoes, yellow chilies, cheeses, sauerkraut, and avocado. They are also delicious with out the meat!
